To set up another computer to use GhostSurf, first put GhostSurf in multi-user
mode. This will block you from being able to open the GhostBlock window;
because GhostBlock shows all the information that passes through GhostSurf,
your using GhostBlock in multi-user mode would be a violation of the other
users' privacy. Multi-user mode also turns off packet logging for the
same reason.
After you've turned on multi-user mode, open the "About" window
(shown below) by choosing "Program info..." from GhostSurf's tray icon
menu. The "About" window displays your IP address in the lower-right
corner.

Enter your IP address (in the above example, "169.254.221.7"; yours will
be different) and GhostSurf's port, 7212, into the browser on the other
computer. If your computer has a firewall running on it, make sure you
allow communication on port 7212.
If you're using Internet Explorer, you can use the following steps to
enter GhostSurf's port and IP address on the second computer. Open
Internet Explorer, and choose the "Internet Options" item from the
Tools menu. Click on the Connections pane. If items appear in the
"Dial-up and Virtual Private Network settings" list, double-click them.
In the window that appears, check the "use a proxy server for this
connection..." box and enter GhostSurf's IP address and port number
in the boxes below. You should do this for all the items in the list.
If there are no items, click on the "LAN Settings" button. Check
the same "use a proxy server..." box and enter GhostSurf's info below.
When you wish to stop using GhostSurf, you can uncheck those boxes.
Once this is done, the remote browser will run all its communication through
GhostSurf on your computer. Your settings (anonymous hubs, GhostBlock) will
apply to all users. If you wish to change your GhostBlock settings,
you'll have to leave multi-user mode and then re-enter when you're done
changing them.
